View General Application Information
When starting your review, you usually want to start with the general details of the permit: who’s applied, what is the event, where is it located, what are the dates, etc. There are two places in the application where you can find this type of information:
The Details tab at the top of the application.
The Overview sections at the beginning of the application.
Steps
The Details tab provides very high level information, while the Overview section provides a greater level of detail to aid you in your review.
At the top of the page, just below the overall Application Status, click the Details tab to view information such as the application number, the license number (if applicable), and the applicant name.
Just below the tab is the Overview section of the application. These are just information sections and don’t require a review. This consists of:
General Applicant Information: Most permits are requested by an organization, rather than individual citizens. This section contains pertinent information about that organization, including key leadership contact information and billing information. This is not necessarily the person completing the application. Common labels for this section include Host Organization and Applicant Information.
Contacts: Key contacts related to the application, including the Primary Contact and the Onsite Contact.
Event Information: General details about the event, including a description, website address, and the number of years the event has taken place.
Event Dates & Attendance: Key information including dates, set up and dismantle times, overall expected attendance, and peak expecting attendance levels.
To expand any of the Overview sections, click the carat icon to the left of the header. See the Open and Close Application Sections topic for instructions.
While you can’t comment on these sections, you can add a general comment on the application if you have questions or concerns about the content provided. See the Add an Overall Application Comment topic for instructions.
