Application Section (Step) Status Definitions
Once an application has been submitted and the Permit Manager has set the status to Under Review, there are six different statuses that all stakeholders will be able to see. When you open an application, you see the statuses of ALL reviews for each section, regardless of who is assigned that section to review. So if three departments need to review a section, you’ll see three dots beside that section.

You can hover over each dot for more details, which shows the text version of the status.
When you open a section of the application, you can see more status information. This shows which departments or agencies are responsible for reviewing that section along with the status of each of those reviews. Note that the status of each review corresponds to the colored dots beside the section title.

Definitions
Not Yet Reviewed (Brown) - The Reviewer has not started their review of this section.
More Info Needed (Blue) - The Reviewer has asked the applicant for more information before they can complete their review. The Reviewer can also post a comment when they make the status change and select which users will get notified of the comment.
Under Review (Orange) - The Reviewer has started their review of this section.
Declined (Red) - The Reviewer has declined this section. However, we always recommend going through a full resolution process with the Applicant before declining a section. It is also possible for an application to get approved, even though a section is declined. For example, there may be a section on Fireworks that gets decline - the event can still take. place, but without fireworks.
Approved (Green) - The section is approved.
Not Applicable (Grey) - There may be instances where even though a Reviewer was automatically Mapped (Assigned) to review a section, they do not need to complete the review. In that case, they change the status to Not Applicable.
