Add an Overall Application Comment

Overall Application Comments are general comments about the application. They typically include correspondence between the Applicant and Permit Manager relating to general matters and not about a specific topics, but Reviewers may also add application comments as needed. An example could be a general question regarding the dates or about the host organization or a previous related event.

Steps

  1. Access the application you want to leave a comment on.

  2. At the top of the application, beneath the application title and status, is a row of tabs, each containing general or overall information about the application. Ensure the Application Comments tab is selected.

  3. There may already be comments listed from other stakeholders, which you can view. To add a comment, scroll below the comments and click Post Comment.

  4. In the Enter Comments Here box, enter your text.

  5. If you have documents you wish to upload, you can drag and drop them into the Upload File(s) box. Or click in the box to search for them on your device.

  6. Under Topic, click the dropdown box and select General Comment. You can select one of the individual sections if you like, which will add the comment to that section. But for a comment related to the overall permit, and to have it display at the top of the permit, select General Comment.

  7. The Topic you choose determines which notification options you can then choose from. For a General Comment, you can notify the applicant and/or the administrators (permit managers). The nature of your comment determines who should be notified, and you can also choose to notify no one. Select the checkboxes for the roles you want to notify.
