Add an Application Section Comment

The ability to add or view comments while you’re reviewing a specific application section means everything is available where you need it, and when you need it. No more opening up another app or email, searching for a message or composing a new one. Plus all of the comments you leave can be easily viewed by all the other stakeholders – again, right on that application section. Nothing is lost or forgotten.

Steps

  1. In your open application, scroll down to the section where you want to view or add a comment.

  2. If it’s a section you’re assigned to for review, it will already be open. Otherwise, open the section.

  3. Scroll below the section details to the Comments and File(s) area. Here you can view any comments that have already been left on this section, by applicants, permit managers, or other reviewers.

  4. Click Add Comment.

  5. In the Enter Comments Here box, enter your text.

  6. If you have documents you wish to upload, you can drag and drop them into the Upload File(s) box. Or click in the box to search for them on your device.

  7. The Topic dropdown defaults to the application section you’re on. Leave it at that.

  8. Select the checkboxes of the people you want to notify about the comment: the options you see are based on the section reviewers. Everyone will be able to see the comment on the application, but the roles you select will get a notification email.

    Note:
    We recommend limiting the internal roles you notify to reduce the number of email notifications people receive.

  9. Click Submit Comment.
